Initial Setup
After you choose your package, please click on Let’s Get Started and provide as much information as you can. Once I review your submission, I will be in contact to schedule an in-person meeting, where I will get to personally know you and your dog(s).
How many dogs can I walk? – I have a two dog maximum limit that I will walk at one time.
Meet & Greet
I am open to meet in either your home or a desired location with social distancing and masked up. Here, we will get to know each other and I will get to know your pup. If you wanted to do an initial Zoom meeting at first, I can most definitely do that. That will be followed up with an in-person meeting, so I can become familiar with your pup, pick up completed forms and a key…more about that next!!
Scheduling
When we have our in-person meeting, you will be able to choose the desired date and time of the dog walk. Approval of the schedule is dependent on current availability. If you require more than one dog walk, we can determine what schedule is the best fit.
Now for the forms! Yes, they are a necessity.
Vet Release Form – download PDF
To work with Press Paws dog walking service, you will have to sign a veterinary release form. This is completed so that in the event your dog suffers a medical emergency, I will have permission from you to make sure your pet is safe.
Pet Service Contract – download PDF
In addition to the Vet Release, you will also have to sign a Pet Service Contract form. Yes, even if I am to only walk your dog once, the form will need completed. If you choose to have your dog walked more often, we will re-visit this contract and update it to your desired times. This is to ensure we are both on the same page about what services will be provided, how keys are handled and various other items. Yes, it’s just walking a dog, but there’s more to it than you’d imagine.
Key System
Most services for Press Paws are needed while you’re at work or busy running around town. We’ll need a key to take your dog on their adventure! How do you get me your key? The key can be picked up during the Meet & Greet, or you can leave it in a location where you feel safe and I will pick it up on the first dog walk. The key will be provided to Press Paws at no charge and it will be returned to you when you no longer dog walking services. Your key will be stored in a safe and secure key system to where nobody will know which key is for what location.
